Our continuous single step process for low carbon ferrochromium production uses significantly less electrical energy compared to competing silicon-based reduction processes. Our manufacturing process has zero emissions as well as no waste products.
The scrap aluminum used is locally sourced requiring minimal transportation, typically under 50 miles from our plant. We do not use a manufactured reductant requiring metallurgical coke and extra energy for the manufacturing of our product.
